Step 10

Select none if you already haven't.

Step 11

Add a new Raster Layer (Layers/New Raster Layer)

Step 12

Choose a color for your ribbon and set it as your foreground color.  i used #BE6D7D.

Select your Paintbrush Tool and set it for the following settings.

Step 13

Draw a line around your heart so that is goes through the openings closest to the outside edge.

Step 14

Now go to Effects/ Noise/ Add and set for 10% with random checked.

Step 15

Add an Inner Bevel with the same settings in step 9.

Step 16

Use your magnifying glass to zoom in so you can see what you are doing and go around and erase parts of your ribbon so it weaves through the heart.

Here is a close up where you can see where I erased part of the ribbon.

You should have something like this when you are done.

Step 17

Add a new Raster Layer.

Step 18

Select the flower tube you want to use and place it so that it is in the top left hand part of your heart.

Step 19

Zoom in and erase any part of the stem that you want to be underneath your heart

Step 20

Add a new Raster Layer.

Step 21

Selcet your Draw Tool and set it for a Bezier Curve with a width of 6.

Looking at the numbers below, double click at 1 holding the second click and dragging it out to 2.  Release then slick again and drag down to 3.

Step 22

Edit/Copy this layer, then paste as a new selection.  then go to Image/ Mirror.  Use your mover tool to move this so it lines up with the other part of the bow.

Step 23

Go to Select/ Select All then Select/ Float.

Step 24

Now go to Effects/ Noise/ Add and set for 10% with random checked.

Step 25

Add an Inner Bevel with the same settings in step 9.

You can paste the image you copied in step 22 as a new layer and use Image/Rotate at right 25 to add another loop.  After you rotate it follow steps 22 through 25 .  You can do this as many times as you want.

Step 26

To make the ribbons hanging under the bow add a new Raster layer. Use the same settings for your Draw Tool only do not double click.  Following the numbers below, start around 1 and drag down to 2 release the click twice at 3.  Then do the same thing at 4, 5,a nd 6.  $ should be at about the same spot as i.

Step 27

Edit/Copy this layer and paste as a new selection.  Then Image/Mirror and use your Mover Tool to move next to the other hanging ribbons.

Step 28

Go to Select/ Select All then Select float and and noise and an inner bevel like you did above in steps 24 and 25.

Step 29

Open your layers palette and move the layer that has your hanging ribbons underneath the layers that have your bows.

This is what you should have.

Step 30

You can now merge all visible layers and export as a tube or save as a gif.
