Shining high up in the sky ,
Hundred of light years away. 
Being seen at a different time,
 An image from the past.

Winking dimly at people on earth,
 Illuminating the midnight sky. 
Millions of friends join this light,
Traveling for human eyes. 

Somewhere out in the Universe ,
A light is born right now. 
Saving its precious light,
For people in a future age.
