Can
you hear the ocean
waves,
Come
crashing on to the shore?
They
carry the echo of a
lover's call,
From
a distance oh so far.
Listen
to the mournful moan,
Of
the waves beating upon
rocks.
Repeating
the cries of a lost
love,
Calling
out to not be
forgotten..
Look
within those same waves,
As
they wash up on your
feet.
Reach
down and gather up,
Treasure
brought from the deep.
Take
the gift and remember
the cries,
As
you return to the one
you love.
Share
the gift that was given
you,
With
the one who holds your
heart.
Thank
them for being a part of
your life,
And
remind them that you
will never forget..
