On this side of the house there are 3 bedrooms and a bath room.  The first bedroom we turned into an office.  We took out the carpeting and laid laminate flooring about the same color as the desktops. It is painted a bluish gray, more blue than gray.

The next room down the hallway, after the bathroom, is the guest room.  It started in shades of maroon since Duncan claims it as his during the times he is home.  I picked the gold I painted it out of the bedspread.  Deciding I liked the strong color in it I ended up painting the office, kitchen, and living room.

The guest bathroom was a special project of mine.  I stripped the textured over wall paper and hand plastered the walls, then painted it.  Though not perfect, I am pleased with the results since I think it has and old world look to it.

At the end of the hallway is another guest room.  Originally it was Courtney's room but she decided she was ready for a place of her own.  Though I was sad for her to move out, I loved the idea of a new room to decorate.
