"Sounds good but try and do it in less then ten minutes. We've got their battle cruiser on our sensors and I can't guarantee how long we may have." Kurtis requested of his man.

"You got it captain. We'll do our best." Sully acknowledged.

"Bull’s-eye how soon until your ready for battle?" Kurtis asked after switching channels on the intercom.

"Sir we can take on the entire Galmorian armada if you wanted to. We just got another 2% out of these old engines."

"Good work Bull’s-eye, I knew I could count on you for something." Kurtis said jokingly trying to hide the apprehension he was feeling at that moment.

Chapter Eleven

Kurtis turned off the intercom and looked at Sintara who sat before him. He thought of how lovely she was and wondered why someone like her would stay with a two-bit smuggler like him. 'Oh well no time to worry about that. I have to keep my mind on that cruiser. How long can I keep them from finding us? Will they surrender or fight us? Will they send out fighters?' all of these questions and more begun to run through his mind.

Kurtis turned his gaze away from Sintara to the large window that opened to show the star field outside the ship. A small point of light appeared at the side of the Galmorian ship then a second and a third; fourth, fifth until twenty little points of light had appeared. Kurtis watched as the little points of light began to move away from the cruiser and towards the Samara.

Crytron, what do you make of those lights?" Kurtis asked softly.

"My instruments indicate that they are one man fighters sir."
