Sintara was the first to speak, knowing that Kurtis was eager to have their
opinions. "What do you want, Kurtis?" she asked.
"I am considering the position, but only if you two would be in
agreement, and of course would stay with me." Kurtis answered.
"Count me in, Kurtis.” Dudkhundi said eagerly. "I've been with
you a long time, and this seems to be just another
Adventure. Perhaps this will be the best." He smiled at Kurtis and
shook his hand.
Sintara was slow to join the festivities. She would go with Kurtis wherever
he went, and she hoped that he knew it. She was sure that this was going to be
an adventure, and that was where her hesitation stemmed from. Would this be
one of those dangerous, life-threatening adventures, or could they now become
secure with solid footing?
