"How did you manage to do that so quickly?" Kurtis asked just a little suspicious.

"I simply went to the labor pool where droids are kept and activated them. I used a holographic image of captain Dryer to inform them that the ship had sustained heavy losses and their help would be required to clear the debris and bodies in order for the remaining crew to function to full capacity. I also instructed them to activate any droids that they contacted and enlighten them to our circumstances.

They are at present in the process of clearing the passageways and will have the task of clearing away the refuse soon." A-7 replied.

"A-7.” Sintara called, "could you come help me with this computer?"

A-7 walked silently to her side and began to explain the basic functions of the complicated controls of the navigation computer. Everyone on the ship had one goal and that was to get this ship underway to Akbar.

Chapter Six

Reminders of the battle that had taken place that left the giant ship in her present condition would not easily be erased. The droids were everywhere cleaning and repairing. The crew of the Shootingstar were making repairs as well and preparing the Samara for its journey. This was all seeming to take place in haste due to the situation on Akbar. The urgency was evident mostly in the Akbarians that were in the fighter bay preparing to defend their planet.

Hours after arriving on board the Samara, Kurtis received the one bit of news he had been waiting for. "Hey, Kurtis, you up there?" came Sully's voice over the ship's intercom.

"Yes, Sully, I'm here. What's the word?" Kurtis asked with no trace of the apprehension he felt apparent in his voice.

"How's the word `go' sound to you?" Sully asked with an apparent smile in his tone.

"Sounds great to me, Sully. You and your crew have done
