On the planet of Akbar a shuttle lands on the surface followed by a large freighter filled with Galmorian troops prepared to assault a small outpost that was nearby. As the two ships settled to the ground, an explosion ripped A large hole in the side of the shuttle. This in turn explodes into a pile of broken glass and metal, killing all aboard and injuring many of the troopers from the freighter who were standing within the perimeter of the blast. Unexpectedly the area erupted in a blaze of laser fire from every direction, scattering the troopers, keeping them from protecting themselves from their unseen attackers. The troopers desperately try to fend off the attack, but are too outnumbered. They had sustained heavy casualties, until a large battle cruiser floats lazily overhead, casting the entire area into shadow. The mysterious foes take advantage of the darkness and retreat into the surrounding forest, disappearing. The troopers were left to search for wounded survivors, but found none.
