Courtney's Lair

All about me. Right I don’t know what all to say about myself. I am a quiet person most of the time keep my opinions to myself but this past year I have seem to come out of my sell and have been more expressive, more outgoing the social butterfly as my mother likes to call me.

As of right now I’m working pretty much full time at Dish Network. Wanting to attend College but I’m trying to save up money since the Air force didn’t quite work out for me…but that’s a different story for a different time

My life has been helter skelter to say the least, I was engaged to my high school sweetheart but things just didn’t work out I’m not sure were it went wrong, but it did. Sometimes I’m glad that we ended it because I now get to enjoy life like I want to.

I have a brother and two stepsisters. I live with my mom still; finally after 18 years of living with my father…We're both glad that I moved in, I mean hey what mother wouldn’t want their daughter with them. Love you mom!

My sisters are attending college and live far away from me, well not that far probably about an hour and a half drive from me. There is my sister Alicia who is my age well three months older, and there is Michelle who is twenty-one. Alicia and I seem to be inseparable now, which is a lot better than how we used to be…

For 2004 spring break Alicia and I along with our AP English IV class got to go to London. We had to raise the money on our own, I forgot how many blow pops I sold, over thousand my guess…at our school football games we held concession stand which was a blast we sold turkey legs, fajitas, you name it we had it! If you look in my photos you will see all the pictures that I took.

As a senior I was very active in my AFJROTC. I was the commanding officer of our Color guard team for two years. I have a photo section dedicated to my team and my flight. I think AFJROTC is the only thing that I miss from high school; I miss it so much that I go back some days when I don’t have work and help out the color guard team this year for competition. So many good times….

I think the last thing I’ll share about myself is that I write a lot of poetry. I have a composition book full of poems. You will be able to read some of my favorite ones on my page; I also did special poems for some pictures that are on my page.
