I love playing around with different layouts.  My image and links above are set on a 3 row by 3 column table.  My image is sliced into 6 pieces.  Each piece is placed into one of the cells of the left two columns of the table.  That way I can keep the image large, yet not have a long download time. The cells in the far right column were merged as one and used to hold my navigation.
